I'm licensed in FL, OR, and OH, therefore, with properties in these areas, the mortgage broker is not responsible for paying the third-party processing fee. The file discloses this fee and comes out of the borrower's pocket. The mortgage broker will then be able to retain their entire compensation for the file.
